Bye Bye Logitech, Hello Microsoft

I've gotten a new Keyboard and Mouse set, this time from Microsoft.  It's the Windows Entertainment Desktop 7000 (Link: http://www.microsoft.com/uk/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productdetails.aspx?pid=081).  I wanted the 8000, but that has been delayed in the UK until September.  I'll buy it then, and give my current one to the family, for prob usage on the Media Center PC I'll be installing over the summer.

The keyboard looks cool, but will take a bit of getting used to it, due to the slight curve in the keys that throws off my touchtyping.  lol.

The touch sensitive top row is a really cool touch.  Simple touch it, don't apply any pressure and it'll detect the key.  The touchpad (Laptop) on the site is also really cool.  Means that u don't need the mouse as much, lol Stick out tongue.

It's very light, and thin.  Just wish I could of gotten the backlit keys and the rechargable keyboard of the 8000, just to touch things off.  But the 7000 is good none the less.

My old keyboard and mouse was the logitech deniro desktop laser, which was brilliant.  Just faniced something a bit different now.

Also got my Professional Community Server link: http://professionalcommunityserver.com/, that prob arrived yesterday, but I wasn't here to open it.  Thankfully one of the housemates signed for it.  I really really like the link to the cs listings in the back.  Big up to the guys who put that together. Smile Yes
