O2 XDA Orbit - My New Phone

Got my new phone today, woooo , it's really cool, very light, and holds alot better than my previos XDA, the miniS.  Got the GPS software (CoPilot) on Friday last week, so was expecting the phone this friday, but O2 did good and got it to me today, well my mum passed it on to me yesterday. woooooo.

It's really nice, quick as well.

The wheel is a nice touch, so is the touchball, like a touchpad on laptops.  lol

Plugged USB cable in, set up windows mobile device center, and wooo, my new phone had all my old contacts on and my calendar, and exchange sync.  Just as I would expect.  No O2 active is a good thing, they provide a couple today items to brighten up the today screen (Deskop in windows mobile), which is a much better idea.  The software comes with ClearPDF, some GPRS traffic monitoring software, the CoPilot satnav Outlook 2002 (for some reason) and a few other things.  The satnav software was quite cool, it came as a preinstalled CAB file on the 256mb microSD card, which was cool, plug that in after you've set up the phone, and it will install it.

The only annoyance with it I've found so far is the microSD card slot is under the SIM card, so you have to take the battery out to change it, but it fits in very nicely. 

I've brought a 512mb microSD card, just to increase the capacity of the phone, from 320mb to 640mb, should give me just a bit more room for texts and photo's.

The phone has a 2megapixel camera on it, just slightly better than the miniS, but the same bluriness in the way it takes photo's.  Will play about a bit more see wat I can tweak.

I've already installed Tetris on it from my old PDA on to it, should work fine.  So should be cool.
