Found this out today, it seems that the windows live onecare firewall blocks windows mobile device center (active sync for vista). Was very annoyed until I figure that it was that that was causing the problems.
So everytime I connect my PDA to vista I have to turn off OneCare. I will be submitting this as a bug in a mo, but I'd thought I'd blog bout it 1st.
I can't wait for vista to go RTM, hopefully my MSDN subscriptiopn will have it up on there soon.
