Came
to sync my laptop up last night (which I do every night, mostly) and
something strange happend, the screen started to flicker. Logged on,
and the screen cut out. Tested it by pluggin in my monitor to laptop
but no joy, so lead me to believe that it was the graphics card.
problem.
Thankfully the council brought 3 years extended warrenty on it, so should get it fixed over easter.

Hi, my laptop screen or graphics card has
started to go. I can't use the laptop at all now, as when I log onto windows
the screen cuts out. It starts by randomly changing colour, lines on the screen
and whatnot. That happens during boot up. After that, it completly cuts out
and goes blank.
Another issue is that the switch to detect
when the lid is closed no longer works.
I use my laptop for univerisity work.
Thankfully it's nearning the end of term.
Is there anything you can do, I believe
that the Council brought insurance with the laptop, but apart from that I have
no idea.

Kinda
mucked it up tho, since I thought that if I did a LLF (low level
format) it might get rid a virus that there might be. But kinda
stopped that. Ooops. Well anyhow, here's some lovely screenshots of
